Healthy, unrestored, accident-free, stainless, regularly used and still registered European Porsche 928s from 1984.
The first owner, a German gentleman from Dusseldorf, bought the Porsche new in 1984 when he retired (see fahrzeugrief) as a gift to himself.
The main options were: electric open roof and a radio/ cassette player, he opted for a manual transmission.
The next owner was a Belgian who had the car valued by a licensed appraiser (see expertise report). They noted 28,061 km on the counter on 4 May 1999. The report also stated that the car was in good condition.
Please find attached a 'car-pass' with more details on the kilometres driven. I got the Porsche 14 years ago with 43,000 km on the counter.
I’ve always said I'd pass it on before the odometer would go beyond 100,000 km. I’ve always had the car registered and roadworthy, initially with a normal full-time registration and then as a classic car.
The best drive I did was a trip from Antwerp to Estepona-Malaga. Always below 140km/h, temperature and oil pressure remained stable all the time. Refuelling was very good, long drives at 1 per 11 km or 9L / 100km.
The car is thirstier during short drives. In other words, it is a fine car with a strong and fast engine.
I added a small option at the time: 'Piessens Racing Shop' (a Porsche specialist) mounted a sports exhaust, this silencer lets you enjoy a wonderful and exciting V8 sound.
I keep forgetting to turn the radio on. The Porsche is currently in a dry garage in Bornem-Antwerp, it can also be viewed there, but I am 64 and now live in Spain.
The car still hasn’t done 100,000 km, the distribution has already been addressed.
The interior (brown leather) is fine, the electric open roof works fine, the bodywork doesn’t have dents or rust, there are some scratches on the front bumper but nothing serious.
