Porsche - 944 - 1983

The first generation Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982. It came with the 2.5L four inline engine with 8 valves. The 944 was available with either a manual gearbox (5 gears) or with an automatic gearbox. The engine of the 944 is based on one half of the V8 from the Porsche 928. Matching numbers.

The Porsche 944 was based on the 924, there are mainly many changes and improvements to the exterior, such as a galvanised body with extended wheel arches and a rear spoiler. The galvanised body was the biggest improvement, as a result the body will not rust.
