The first generation Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982. It came with the 2.5L four inline engine with 8 valves. The 944 was available with either a manual gearbox (5 gears) or with an automatic gearbox. The engine of the 944 is based on one half of the V8 from the Porsche 928. Matching numbers.

The Porsche 944 was based on the 924, there are mainly many changes and improvements to the exterior, such as a galvanised body with extended wheel arches and a rear spoiler. The galvanised body was the biggest improvement, as a result the body will not rust.

This Porsche 944 type 1 is from June 1983. It is an original Dutch car with 184,000 original kilometers, with NAP certificate. The 944 has many invoices since 2005 from various Porsche specialists.

It has matching colours with the rare 'Zobel Metallic' (LY8V). This colour was only delivered on the Porsche 924 and 944 in 1983-1984. The exterior is in very neat condition consistent with its age.
