Austro-Hungarian silver candlestick of circular based form with highly decorated column. This fine imposing size candlestick will grace any dining table or mantelpiece.
Baluster shape candlestick raised on large circular domed stepped foot, chased design of leaf and scroll. With maker's hallmark "HS", Dianakopf with cartouche shape mark, and Vienna city assay mark.
Made in Vienna 1880, maker Hermann Südfeld .
Height 33 cm, widht 15 cm, weight 330 grams.
The base is hollow, not weighted!
