Expensive vintage or millesime bottles of champagne with a long maturation period often have tough and difficult to open corks. With tongs such as these, you are able to elegantly remove the cork from these older bottles. Saint Hilaire is a daughter brand of Ercuis, one of the most well-known French silversmiths besides Christofle. Saint Hilaire represents the contemporary, modern and more exclusive collection when compared to Ercuis. The cork tongs are in perfect condition, the box does have some signs of wear.
