First regulatory model of flare lance of the French army, model 1917 called Chobert, manufactured by GG and Cie.

Made entirely of brass, the trigger mechanism has been deactivated.

Serial number 7770.

Developed to standardise flare launchers and set a standard within the French army. Against this model we have the German 1894 model used by the German Empire during the war with the longest gun and more practical use.

In good general condition, no damage can be seen and the handle has oak wood in very good condition.
