1. - M. Sergius Silus. - Silver denarius (3,60 g. 18 mm.) Minted in Rome in 116-115 B.C.
Obv.: ROMA - EX • S • C, head of Roma right, wearing winged helmet decorated with griffin crest, XVI (mark of value) in monogram behind. /
Rev.: M • SERGI / SILVS, M. Sergius Silus (Pr. 197 BC) galloping left, shield on right arm, sword and severed head in left hand; Q in left field.
