Märklin H0 - 32560 - Electric locomotive - 100th anniversary edition series Ce 6/8 II in 24 carat gold plated - SBB

Märklin (H0) - 32560 - Electric freight train locomotive series Ce 6/8 II "Crocodile" of the Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB). Type from the first series. With rod buffers, transition plates on the front sides, small ladder and hand railings for the shunter, with sand spreader, without warning of wrong-way driving and without Integra-Signum magnet. As in use in the 1920s. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the legendary electric locomotive series Ce 6/8 II "Crocodile", this model will be produced in 2019 in a one-off series, in a worldwide strictly limited edition of 3,500 copies. The "Crocodile" comes in an exclusive package with certificate of authenticity. Locomotive and certificate of authenticity are continuously numbered. A pair of white cotton gloves and a booklet on the history of the "Crocodile" are included. A 24-carat gold gold-plated pickup shoe is also included, interchangeable with the standard mounted pickup shoe. Märklin heraldic animal. 100 years ago, in November 1919, the Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) commissioned the first "Crocodile". Soon this locomotive became the ruler over the steep slopes of the Gotthard. It owes the name to its model (hinged platforms, elongated shape) and its green colour. When driving along routes with points and curves, the machine "squirmed" like a reptile across the track. With this special model, we greatly value the fact that each handle is in place: our experts gild each element to be gilded in five perfected work steps. During the galvanization, the Crocodile is gilded inside and out with 24 carat gold. This model unites like no other the technical masterpiece and the quality of the Märklin brand with the sensuality of gold. Loc platforms, middle locomotive part, wheels, rod parts and various mounted parts of 24 carat gold plated metal. With digital decoder mfx+, DCC decoder and extensive sound and light features. 2 regulated high output propulsion units with flywheels, i.e. 1 for each driven bogie. Powered on 3 axles as well as one blind axle. With traction tyres. Articulated chassis follows the curves. 3-Point front signal changing with the direction of travel and 1 red marker light (Swiss directional signal) in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Lighting for solo driving switchable to 1 red marker light Lighting consists of maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs. (LED lamps) Very detailed metal edition of this locomotive, with many separately mounted details. With sand spreader between the drive wheel groups. 3-piece loc construction with swerving platforms. Detailed roofing construction with safety grilles under the pantographs. Length between the buffers is 22.3 cm. The locomotive has been tested and runs faultlessly. The photos are an integral part of the description of this lot. Will be shipped with PostNL.
