Translated by Max Schuchart. This was the first Dutch translation of Tolkien's world-famous fantasy story. Published in 1957 (3 years after the original English version). With a loose removable map in the first volume and a folding map in the last volume. The paper dust jackets have damage; small tears, spots and some light discolouration. The bookblocks are still pretty good; hardly skewed and still pretty tight. The maps are still good and undamaged.
