KINGS OF MACEDON. Antigonos II Gonatas (Circa 270-240 BC). Tetradrachm. Amphipolis.
Obv: Head of Pan wearing goat horns and goat skin in centre of Macedonian shield, lagobolon over shoulder; shield decorated with seven stars within double crescents.
Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΓΟΝΟΥ.
Athena Alkidemos walking left, brandishing thunderbolt and shield, decorated with aegis. Controls: Macedonian helmet and HP monogram.
