Led Zeppelin's second work sees the light just a few months after the debut album and only confirms the great success that the English band had already invested.
After the debut Page and his companions had been engaged in a long and exhausting tour, which did not prevent them from working on the new songs, most of which were composed during their various movements without, however, that the quality of the compositions was minimally affected. Although slightly inferior, in my opinion, to the debut album, II is a beautiful record that made the history of the genre and particularly rich in unique and particular moments that could only be born from the mind of musicians with a certain genius and with a strong personality.

The third album, in this sense, constitutes a notable deviation. Part of the songs are written in the Bron-Yr-Aur country cottage (which then gives its name to the song almost of the same name, Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp). This gives the album a strong acoustic inclination, a component that is also found here in songs like Friends and Tangerine, and which in the future, starting with the next album, will have an increasing importance in the band's discography.
