Made 1st half 20th century after the original of the sculpture found in Pompeii.
The original statue of a drunk dancing faun stood on the edge of the impluvium, a basin for collecting rainwater.
Fauns are ghosts of untethered forests, which were often associated with Pan and Greek satyrs by literate and Hellenised Romans.
The condition of this sculpture is good. The height is 32 cm.
