Very nice and complete Philips Hi-Q set composed of a tube radio type BX642A, woofer type AD5004 and 2 treble/midrange speakers type AD5005.
This set is very rare/unique and made in 1954 by Philips in Eindhoven.
The complete set is in excellent condition (see photos).
The woofer is built into an acoustic speaker box and the treble/midrange speakers (with double cone) have a white bakelite casing.
This radio has been completely checked by a tube radio specialist.
The radio was equipped with a new “magic eye” and all bad components and wiring were replaced. All moving parts with contact functions have been treated.
The radio has 4 wavelengths: LW, MW, SW and FM. There also is a connection for a record player.
The reception at all wavelengths is very good.
Tubes: ECC85, EF89, ECH81, EF85, EM80, EABC80, ECC83, EL84,
EL84, EZ80 and EZ80.
Mains voltage: 220VAC/50Hz.
