This Philips 2511/2019 combination with the rare German military WW2 German Wehrmacht Panzer headphones Model 'B' Throat Microphone (Kehlkopfmikrofon) has a known and confirmed (see latest photos) war history. Here's what I know about the former French owner:
The occupation of northern France lasted from June 22, 1940 until its liberation in August 1944.
Radio communication played a very crucial role during WWII!
Perhaps this Philips combination was submitted in the Netherlands in 1943 (see photos surrender) and then used by the German army during WW2 to receive crucial messages from the motherland. The Germans themselves have added the extremely rare military Kehlkopfmikrofon.
The radio is still set to the 110V, which was the usual voltage during WWII.
The speaker has a special on/off button.
