The Chrysler Ghia Falcon was a two-seater concept car and Chrysler’s answer to the successful Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Thunderbird. Chrysler’s design chief Virgil M. Exner had commissioned the construction of two Chrysler Ghia Falcon's prototype cars to Ghia in Italy in 1953.
The engine was the famous Chrysler ‘HEMI’. Unfortunately, Chrysler's management did not give production approval. The beautifully styled Ghia Falcon, which so elegantly combined European and American styling, therefore did not reach the production stage.
However, one of the two prototypes survived in the care of concept car collector Joe Bortz Auto Collection of Chicago
