Heavy, Prussian cavalry troops epee with a massive, wide open-worked iron hilt, provided with Prussian imperial eagle in the middle. Ribbed rubber hilt with finger loop. All hilt parts with acceptance stamps.
Blade back also provided with chamber stamp and year.
Beautiful, smooth structured plug-in back blade with Schör, upper third of the blade sanded on the field, with traces of use and age spots.
Massive iron sheath with strap and carrying ring, lower carrying ring properly removed. Original blueing of the sheath for the most part preserved. To the chape finely scarred, nothing rusted through. A truly beautiful, well-preserved cavalry weapon.
