Painting oil on canvas, signed J.H. Coster at the bottom left. The painting has been restored: recanvased and cleaned.

Jan Coster lived and worked in Almelo, Amsterdam [1874 to 1909], Tubbergen and Apeldoorn. Pupil of A. Allebe and B.Wijnveld Jr; and from H.Valkenburg.
Painted and drew Twente landscapes and still lifes.
Was a member of Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. He has had many exhibitions in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and the Hague. Work in various museums, including the Frans Hals museum, Haarlem, Rijksmuseum Twente and enschede. Versatile artist.

Dimensions: 38 cm x 51 cm and the dimensions with the frame are 66 cm x 77 cm.

In good condition with the original frame.

Will be carefully packaged and sent by insured mail.
