Authentic officer's dagger of the Imperial Japanese Naval Navy, or also called Kaigun Tanken from 1883, designed for high-ranking officers of the Imperial Japanese Navy with crest of arsenal Tokio.
The blade presents the forging marks in which a Midare Hamon can be seen in its entire length, maintaining a very good condition, the tsuba is presented in the naval model and the tsuka keeps part of its wrapping in tanned ray skin, the saya it maintains much of its aesthetic beauty with Japanese ornaments on its wrapper.
It is an authentic and well-preserved piece, an excellent collector's item for lovers of Japanese war culture.
