L’Etna Rosso "Prephilloxera" della Tenuta delle Terre Nere è un’eccellenza che racconta la storia del mondo del vino. Una tradizione plurisecolare che Tenuta delle Terre Nere ha avuto la fortuna, la capacità e la lungimiranza di mantenere in vita grazie a questo Etna Rosso che proviene da Calderara Sottana, da un vigneto di circa quattro ettari che contiene due particelle sopravvissute alla fillossera.

Sono viti di oltre 130-140 anni, a piede franco. Viti che, come definisce la stessa azienda, sono in grado di produrre “vini celestiali: la quinta essenza di Calderara”. Tenuta delle Terre Nere è il frutto di decenni di passione e professione, è l’emblema di grandi vini siciliani, di valorizzazione di un luogo straordinario. Qui sulle pendici dell’Etna, dove il clima è estremo, la cura in vigna è meticolosa e fondamentale al tempo stesso per ottenere una maturazione delle uve perfetta. Pura concentrazione nei vigneti e scarsissimo lavoro in vigna per far in modo che il vino sia l’emblema di questo terroir, la più piacevole espressione di questo territorio così ricco di fascino.
