The Royal and Military Order of San Hermenegildo, is an order created in Spain on November 28, 1811, by King Fernando VII.
It was named in honour of Hermenegildo, son of the Gothic king Leovigildo.
There are three categories, Knight's Cross, Commander's Cross, and Knight's Badge.
It is awarded to military personnel with excellent service sheet.
