Russia - medal - 1986

Here you can see one of the most macabre decorations awarded in recent decades.
What you can see up there is the medal for having taken an active part in controlling the damage immediately following the explosion of the Chernobyl power plant on 26 April, 1986.
The drop of blood on the medal for the liquidators is a tribute to their work.
By the way, the image on the medal represents a drop of blood, through which the alpha, beta and gamma rays pass.
