Important, but due to various misinformation controversial biography of Joseph Haydn by Giuseppe Carpani (1751-1825), who had dealings not only with Haydn, but also with Salieri, Beethoven and Rossini. The first edition appeared in 1812.
Uncut. Cover slightly spotted, spine ends with minor missing parts. At the beginning minimally dampstained at upper margin.
