A sound volume, the percaline is faded on the lower part of the front cover, the spine is a bit insolated, the corners and crowns are in very good condition, sound hinges. Clean inside, rare light spots of foxing.
Nord contre Sud is an epic and historical novel by Jules Verne which was published in 1887. Published as a serial in the Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation from 1 January to 1 December of the same year, then as a volume from 17 November.
The plot of the novel is set in the United States, in 1862, during the Civil War, which ended with the surrender of Southerner General Lee to Northerner General Grant in 1865.
