Central Station 3 plus offers a multi protocol control device, with the modern colour touch screen with high resolution, 2 running controllers and an integrated central simulator control panel. Therefore, many possibilities for simple and comfortable control of the locomotives and the entire layout installation. On locomotives, up to 32 functions can be controlled, on accessories control of up to 320 Motorola - or 2048 DCC-magnetic articles is possible.
Central Station 3 also has 2 built-in locomotive card readers (for saving locomotive data on a card or for quick locomotive call up by plugging in the card), an SD card reader for memory expansion and an integrated speaker for playback of model railway sounds. An integrated and powerful booster power supply to the installation with running current and control current.
Central Station 3 is suitable for multiple devices, i.e. with the optional cable (60123) additional Central Stations 3 Plus (60216) can be used together in an installation. Extra control panels, more layouts and keyboards can further expand the control installation, whereby joint and separate configurations for the installation components to be controlled in Central Station 3 Plus can be used.
Central Station 3 has 2 built-in USB hosts (e.g. for mouse, keyboard, USB stick), a USB charging socket, a network connection for communication with a PC, connections for 2 Mobile Stations, a connection for external speakers and other connections for the Märklin bus system. S88 connections can be installed externally via link s88 (60883).
Load-bearing capacity on connection rail: max. 5 A, load capacity on programming rail: max. 1.2 A. Central Station 3 should only be used together with the adapter 60061 - the 60101 for Gauge 1 and L51095 for LGB and not with transformers like the 60052. When using power supply 60061, the maximum output power of 58 VA and a maximum current of 3 A is reached (at 60216 with adaptor 60101/L51095 a maximum current of 5A is reached, only recommended for Gauge 1/LGB. Watch very carefully that the cable diameter is greater than 0.5 mm ²!).
