The Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure was a periodical published in London in the period 1747–1814 by John Hinton and W. Bent.

This book contains the 1759 edition with many (but not all) engravings included. One is hand coloured in lovely original water colours. Contains 15 maps, fold out engravings and other engravings (portraits, coats of arms etc). The pictures show all the engravings.
