Express train locomotive series 18.1 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft (DRG). Formerly the Württemberger series C. with running number: 18 111. Operational livery etc from circa 1928. Deployed for amongst other services, as the locomotive for the legendary “Orient Express”.
With an MFX digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel installed in the boiler. Powered on 3 axles. With traction tyres. 2-point front-signal lighting in conventional mode alternates with changes in direction of travel with digital control. Lighting with low-maintenance warm-white LEDs. A substantial portion of this locomotive is made out of metal - such as the boiler, smokestack, steam-dome, engineer’s cab, tread-ways and tender Close coupling between locomotive and tender.
