The book is published by Adam and Co., London, ca.1875 (This book is generally attributed to John S. Roberts and estimated to have been printed around 1875 although it is undated).
The book (Thick Folio) is beautifully bound in black Victorian leather with bevelled edges. Boards with embossed gilding showing a lion and a slave. Highly ornate gilt decoration and lettering pieces to both boards. Repacked with leather spine in six compartments with raised bands, gilt lettering pieces to compartment two.
