THE ONLY COPY IN THE WORLD?
A very mysterious little book - totally unrecorded in ICCU, OCLC, and KvK.
Consisting of meditations and devotions, including chapters on the 14 Stations of the Cross, each illustrated with an attractive typographical cross.
The publisher Vincenzo d'Amico was active from 1679-1713, according to ICCU.
The 'Protesta dell' Autore' suggests that the author was afraid of contravening religious regulations - perhaps explaining the rarity of the book?
Condition: some staining throughout the text. The printer forgot to print the text on one leaf of prelims (*7r, *8 is intentionally blank). There is a large tear in pp. 47/48 but all text still legible. Small open tear to blank lower margin on pp. 83/84.
