I have here for sale a book entitled KASHMIR Described by Sir Francis Younghusband and painted by Major E Molyneux. It is a second edition published by A & C Black in 1917. It has 70 beautiful watercolour painted plates and the words of Francis Younghusband who was an explorer of some renown in the Far East and Central Asia. There is also a fold-out colour map of Kashmir at the rear of the book. It covers the seasons and scenery, travel in Kashmir, Srinagar and Neighbourhood, The Residency garden, Gulmarg, the Valleys and Places of Interest, Sport, the People, the History of Kashmir, Administration, Products and Manufactures, the Electrical Scheme, the Peaks and Mountain Ranges, and the Story of the Mountains.

Red hardboards with a pretty paisley pattern in orange and blue to the front and spine. Orange title lettering to the front and black to the spine. Slight bumping to front corners, otherwise the book is in fine condition inside and out. 283 pages, 22.5 x 16.5 cm.
