I have here for sale a RARE book entitled THE NILE Notes for Travellers in Egypt and in the Egyptian Sudan by E A Wallis Budge. It is an 11th edition published by Thos. Cook and Son, London and Cairo in 1910. It has a double page spread map of Cook's Steamer and Dahabeah Service on the Nile, a fold out map of the Nile from Wadi Halfa to Khartoum as well as plans and illustrations in b/w throughout.

Sir Ernest Alfred Thompson Wallis Budge (27 July 1857 – 23 November 1934) was an English Egyptologist, Orientalist, and philologist who worked for the British Museum and published numerous works on the ancient Near East.

Brown soft back covers covers with gilt heiroglyphics and lettering to the front cover and gilt lettering to the spine. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good condition inside and out. 976 pages, 18 x 13 cm.
