Canadian predator "The Wolf"
The wolf is the largest predator in the canine family. Wolves generally live in family groups. The main prey in most regions are medium-sized to large hoofed animals. Since the end of the 20th century, the wolf has been protected in many countries, where the populations are recovering despite frequent illegal hunting. To pay tribute to this remarkable animal, the Royal Canadian Mint presents this unique coin with a portrait of a wolf hunting its prey.
