Description
A set of 9 antique Delft tiles with people and children's games, around 1650 (9) - Earthenware
Netherlands - Mid 17th century

Children’s games and people as couples are the theme of this set of antique delft tiles.

The tiles date from around 1650, during which time images were painted for the first time without a corner figure. Under the influence of the white Italian faience delft white gained influence. That also had an impact on the tiles. The images became smaller, sometimes even minimal and were now also made completely white tiles (whites).

The set will be adequately packaged for registered shipping.
