A very fine Ancient Roman blue glass pendant in the form of an intricate juglet. The middle section of the pendant is globular in shape, and features a chevron design. There is a single handle attaching from the body up to the rim. Some earthly encrustations remain on the surface. Miniatures items such as these were often used as charms for necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Measurements: circa 2.1cm height

Provenance: Important Spanish collection, Madrid.
