An antique Greek Lekanis with lid, 4th century BC, in orange clay , decorated in black, with two heads, two palm leafs and geometrical paterns.
The painting is worn but otherwise no damages or restorations.
Acquired by the current owner in 2006, to Mr Sam Levy,
in Lisbon, Portugal.
This gentleman had a vast collection of ancient artefacts reunited between 1950 and 1985.
The majority of his collection is now at the National Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
