RARE GREEK KANTHAROS FROM BOEOTIA
Ceramic kantharos with black glaze, on a moulded foot with a keel-shaped and flared belly. Provided with two high raised handles from the base to the lip, each adorned with an ergot.
High temperature of cooking, black glaze, great quality ceramics.
Adorned with painted and embossed circles on the foot and under the base.
Greece, Athenian workshop - around the 4th century BC
Width: 15,7 cm - Height: 11,2 cm.
Greek art - 5th century BC.
Very good preserved condition - slight restoration
