This praying chair dates back to the 1920s. The praying chair has an enamel plate with the number 4. It originates from Belgium and comes from a church, monastery or chapel. The leather has been renewed or is still in very good condition. This makes the chair look very neat. There may have been other plates next to the number. The braided reed of the collapsible seat is completely fine. There is, however, a crack in the wood of the seat. As a result, it may not be able to withstand a heavy weight. Therefore, I also advise not to use the seat for adults to sit on. Please see the photos.
Ecclesiastical objects, such as this chair, are increasingly seen in contemporary interiors. This chair is decorative, historically telling and you can make a nice corner with it. On the seat, for example, you could place a beautiful flower arrangement. In addition, the chair is increasingly used as a dress-boy.
This chair can be shipped with a regular parcel service. It will therefore be shipped registered and insured via PostNL. The rates can be seen below. The chair can also be picked up in Venlo.
