Near Eastern Pottery figure of a standing female, 24 x 7,5 cm

Description
Near Eastern Pottery figure of a standing female, 24 x 7,5 cm
Circa 1000 B.C.

This item is collected, with the chest and female sexual features marked. Her hair is tied up in a bun with a cap and her face. The prominent nose and marked eyes give us a concrete and eternal expression. These female figurines are associated with fertility, at a time when the moment of conception and childbirth was something dangerous.
