Tile 18th 3x "springer" - Earthenware

Description
Tile 18th 3x "springer" - Earthenware
Netherlands - Late 18th century

Three 18th century tiles from one of the Frisian tile factories in the Netherlands. These tiles are popularly called “jumpers” because they often depict animals making a jumping movement. In this case, it concerns two hares and an elephant. The tiles look good even though they have defects, the tiles with the hares have chips off and the tile elephant has had crack over the width.
