Ford Thunderbird Convertible 1961
A 1961 Ford Thunderbird Convertible known as Bullit Bird.
Fitted with a white soft top.
The exterior of this T-Bird is finished in green with chrome details. Under the car, original steel rims with original hubcaps and white-wall tires are mounted. The car also has a white soft-top, the rear window of the soft-top can be opened and closed with a zipper (the zipper is broken).
The interior of the Ford is in original condition, finished in cream / white vinyl. The steering wheel can be turned away to make boarding easier. The dashboard has some cracks and there are signs of wearing. All original clocks are present. The soft-top is also electrically operable (soft-top does not work).
The technique is in good condition. The 390Ci engine runs well. The engine produces 300 hp, all of this is transmitted by an automatic gearbox (Cruise-O-Matic). The entire hydraulic part of the roof mechanism has been overhauled, invoices are available for this!
The Thunderbird was delivered new in 1961 in Washington, USA. The car has driven here until 2019 when the car was sold to Europe. The roof here has been given new cylinders. The car has an American title and all import duties have been paid.
