It contains the third part (‘Tertia Partis’) of the TEOLOGICA SUMA of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Latin, commented by Cardinal Thomas Cajetan. The work is complete and the book is in VERY GOOD CONDITION and robust. Binding in Spanish parchment and hand-labelled spine with the author and the work. It only has halos of old water stains on some pages, and the binding has slight signs of wear caused by the age of the book. The Theological Summa (whose Latin title is Summa Theologiae or Summa Theologica, sometimes simply called the Summa), is a treatise on theology written between 1265 and 1274 by the philosopher, scholastic theologian and Doctor of the Church Saint Thomas Aquinas (circa 1225–1274) during the last years of his life. It is a compendium of the catechism in the form of a summary of all the main theological teachings of the Catholic Church. It was conceived as a manual for the theological education of students of theology, including seminarians and lay literates, more than as an apologetic work intended to polemicize against non-Catholics. It presents the reasoning of almost every point of Christian theology in the West.
