Journal des Demoiselles magazine; luxurious publication on Parisian fashion at the end of the Second Empire adorned with 46 gorgeous tipped-in engraved plates that have been finely enhanced with a brush at the time. The beautiful iconography is completed with 2 fold-out plates in black and white and two views engraved on steel, as well as some figures in the text.

Period green half shagreen binding. Spine with raised bands adorned with gilded title, date and bands.
Good copy. Sturdy volume, slight imperfections. Fresh interior, slightly yellowed paper, colour plates in very good condition as a whole, rare with light signs of handling.
