LGB G – 28001 – Tender locomotive– 99 4633 of the DR (GDR)
DC/Digital - MZS - In very good condition - With original packaging
The steam locomotive is a model of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) with running number 994633 and is powered on 4 axles. Current collection takes place on all 8 wheels. Colour scheme: red chassis and black body. The model has a plastic body.
The model has been converted and fitted with an LGB MZS-decoder (55021 - multi-train system) and can be used in both analogue and digital modes without physically switching over. The locomotive has 3-point front lighting on the front and rear. When in digital mode the signal lighting alternates with changes in the direction of travel, with digital control and of continuous strength. The lighting also remains on when the locomotive is stationary. In analogue mode, lighting also alternates with changes in the direction of travel, but brightness depends on the speed at which it is traveling.
The smoke generator probably needs to be replaced
A switch-magnet (17010) has been installed on the underside of the locomotive. This allows a moving train to operate the reed switches installed between the rails for converting points sets and signals etc. and also providing location data to a the central (computer) control system.
The locomotive has minor signs of wear.
Tested and fully functional (both running characteristics and operation of the decoder and lighting).
Decoder programming and connection diagram of the 550201 are included (programmable with LGB-55015 handset amongst others).
Original manual is included.
