Rare portable copy of this complete edition in a volume called "in miniature" of the five legal codes promulgated in France at the initiative of Napoleon I between 1804 with the Civil Code and 1810 for the Penal Code.

Remarkable editorial work done in 1813. This small volume of 9.7x7cm contains nearly 1000 pages.
Printing on extra-fine verged paper, with tiny characters, print made in Amsterdam.
Title adorned with imperial coat of arms.

Decorative copy established in a fine modern binding in full raspberry red leather, back to 5 nerves, mute.

Binding in perfect condition. The first three and the last 4 sheets passed with traces and light wetting. Handwritten bookplate on the title page barred out. Several handwritten notes with very fine pen remain very discreet. A small angular ink stain on 400-410 pages without gravity, the rest fresh and clean.
