We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic eighth season episode "Bart After Dark" (1996).
Sensational image of Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, Martin and Ralph Wiggum.
Nelson crashes Milhouse's remote control plane onto the roof of a mysterious old house. The kids stand at the fence of the house, which has a sign saying “no trespassing”. Milhouse: "Thanks a lot. Now it's stuck on that haunted house!" Nelson: "I heard a witch lives there!" Ralph: "I heard a Frankenstein lives there!" Milhouse: "You guys are way off. It's a secret lab where they take the brains out of zombies and put them in the heads of other zombies to create a race of super-zombies!" Nelson: "That's the house?!"
The cel was hand-signed by NANCY CARTWRIGHT at a Simpsons art exhibition we held in 1999.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 05:37 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto a separate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
