Condition: good. Parchment dried on the spine; horizontal tear at the bottom of the spine, right joint torn at the top approx. 1 cm. Inner hinge in front slightly open at the bottom - bookblock attached to binding. Interior discoloured, some scattered spots, ink spot on page 20. Small piece missing from bottom page 87 (see picture, approx. 2 × 2 cm, with loss of letters; 2 holes the size of a large pinhead in text of page 145, small hole at the top of the side margin of pp 144-176. Bottom edge of 6 pp scuffed. Piece missing from margin of 6 pp, hole of approx. 0.3 cm in margin (and in text of 2 pp, large hole of 0.5 cm in text on page 365) of 6 pp. Ink spot on pp 118/119 of 2nd part. Inner margin slightly open in 4 locations.

Scarce third edition. Illustrated with a title engraving by Lucas Scherm and 24 (12 in the first and 12 in the second part) copper engravings after Savry - all shown in the pictures.
