Beautiful work by the Belgian artist Louis van den Eynde. An ornate realistic depiction of a parrot with porcelain plate.

Van den Eynde is of the same year of birth as Léon Spilliaert and Pablo Picasso. Like Louis Clesse, he belonged to that group of traditionally working artists from the early 20th century. The work is elegant and qualitatively excellently painted.

For forty years, he participated in the exhibitions of the "Société des Artistes Français" and in exhibitions in the "Cercle Artistique de Bruxelles" (source Wikipedia).
His works can be admired in the Belgian museums of Ostend and De Panne.

It comes with an appraisal report dated 11 May 2021.

Dimensions of the panel: 40 cm x 50 cm, the frame is authentic and very well preserved. With original note from the artist on reverse panel.
