Antique Japanese sword (shobu-zukuri wakizashi or naginata naoshi) in shirasaya. The blade was forged between 12th and 15th centuries and signed: "Kagetomo or Kagetsugu" there were multiple master blacksmiths working between 12 and 15 centuries, which signed "Kagetomo/Kagetsugu", I don't know for sure. The blade has good original polish, "itame /mokume hada", " ko- gunome hamon" with lots of activity. Motohaba "(blade width at the nakago): nakago 3.1 cm, "ubu" (not reduced), no bend in the blade, minor "kizu", no chip or crack and "cutting edge" is very sharp, guaranteed no "hagire". Total length in shirasaya: 56 cm, length “nagasa”: 37 cm. The sword is in good, collectible condition. Insured shipping (Switzerland, Russia and China excluded).
