Pascal Somon (1960–2020) was a French comic artist, illustrator, and avid Tintinophile. Born near Maubeuge, he developed into a versatile artist active in advertising, book illustration, postcards, and especially comics. He is best known for his homages to Hergé and the Clear Line tradition, with pastiches and original work in the series *Vers la ligne claire*. His drawing style is precise, elegant, and full of respect for the classic Franco-Belgian tradition. Somon also worked on various personal projects and was appreciated by collectors of Clear Line art and Tintin-related work.
