Kodak Kodex N° 2 Mod. B

Kodak Kodex N° 2 Mod. B
Vintage camera - Goed (gebruikt en in werkende staat met zichtbare gebruikssporen)

Kodex No. 2 Model B was produced by Eastman Kodak Co. in the factory in Rochester, New York State, in the mid 1920s.
The machine is set up for the 120 format film.
It features an optical system with an achromatic lens.
Apertures: from f/6.3 to 32.
Speeds: 1/25, 1/50, B and T modes.
Provided with the original leather case.

Interesting fact: it is famous the slogan in which George Eastman, the founder of the company with the same name, launched the first cameras he produced on the American market: “You press the button, We do the rest”.
This slogan was based on the fact that the first cameras produced had to be shipped to Kodak for film development, photo printing and reloading with a new film.
More than half a million models were produced between 1915 and 1926, with various design changes. The sharp-edged boxes were transformed into rounded ones in 1917 and the shape of the foot changed from an S-shape to a C-curve in 1919.
