A lot of three very well kept bottles of 1982 Bordeaux.
Highly regarded as one of the best vintages collectively in Bordeaux 1982’s are very sought after and collectible. This lot includes:
1982 Chateau Pontet-Canet
1982 Chateau Troplong-Mondot
1982 Chateau Labegorce
Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (183), June 2009:
A solidly made effort, the 1982 Pontet Canet reveals some pink at the edge, but it remains a medium-bodied wine offering hints of menthol and red as well as black currants. The sensuality and suppleness provided by the vintage character are still appealing.
Jean-Marc Quarin, 1982 Troplong-Mondot:
It is a delicate wine that should not be decanted. On the nose when stirred, floral and anise emerge. They are unquestionably the raw characters. On the palate, the wine looks younger than nose. The body is melted, and nice. The second part of mouth is more interesting than the first and especially a little more expanded. Tannins. Persistence pleasant, fresh and fruity.
Kept in underground temperature and humidity-controlled cellar. Any import costs outside the EU (including UK and Switzerland) are entirely the buyer's responsibility.
