Embossing in the kimono, extensive use of pearl mica in the salmon pink background. Detailed carving and printing, great attention to detail. Excellent colours. A perfect duplication of Goyo's original.
Hashiguchi Goyo is one of the most famous Japanese woodblock print artists of the 20th century. His amazing depictions of women were never equalled in the 20th century. Goyo only lived for 41 years and his output is very limited. His prints are extremely rare.
The print is stored in a beautiful inner folder enclosed in paper and protective lining and a sturdy outer folder.

In good condition. Woodblock unevenly cut at the top as shown.
